Why is it so difficult?

Hi, i hope you have all had a great Christmas. i thought I'd quickly update my Blog for the new year as I have a new pic for the header. Sounds simple enough, but I've just spent an hour trying to change my template to a little pic at the top followed by the name Wonderland Bears and a little side header. But I cant do it!! I just get the picture and no header or the header slap in the middle of the picture which is no good at all! Big Sigh :( is this a sign Im getting too old do you think...........

Hi Its been a busy week and at last I think Im going to have plenty to show at the craft fair, if only I can finnish one thing before I start on the next :0). Currently working on.. Devil hamsters, Pumpkin Hamster, 4 bears, 2 hello Kitties, a flower fairy, Haloween spider and a panda lol I have finnished some though and have lots of ideas to crochet so I'd better get going :0)

Something Good to Focus on x

I have finally booked a stall at a craft fair in Harlow, Essex. Its the Vintage Gift and Craft Fair at Great Parndons Community Association Hall just a few minutes from where I live, on Sunday 30th September 2012. Im hoping this will be the first of many to come and its really given me something good to focus on after my recent illness. As this is the first fair since 2008 my confidence is a bit shakey so instead of showing just my minature bears (Wonderland Bears) Im making all sorts of crafts knitted and crochet and the stall will be called Alisons' Wonderland which is where it all began way back. As usual I haven't any pics to show yet. Im going to try and make a light box this weekend. Then I can take some, hopefully, decent pictures. So thats me for now. The Day before the new ME !

Friends on Facebook have tagged me in pics recently and I cant belive how much weight I've put on. This combined with the fact that I cannot get into my clothes without a shoe horn, has promted me to start a diet or new way of eating. Having used weight watchers before and finding it easy to fit into my lifestyle, Im starting the new propoints plan tomorrow. So today Im planning my meals for next week and I think the whole family will eat a lot healthier too :0) As all fruit is 0 points I've stocked up well and am just about to start making Carrot and Corriander soup which is also 0 points. I can take this to work for lunch and not be tempted to buy sandwiches lol and leaving me more choice for my evening meal. My Zumba and aerobics dvd's are on standby and I've warned Lily our Bichon that she will be getting extra walkies. Im hoping this will help with my health too as I've just returned to work after 11 weeks suffering with Stress/Depression which had quite a dramatic effect on my life and I dont wish to feel like that ever again x So hopefully i will have new bears and creations to show you soon. HI

Wow its been such a long time since I was here.

Since Christmas I've only managed to finnish two bears which is very bad going. I'll post pics of them later. I have around 10 things half made and just cant seem to finnish anything before I want to start something else! I know its completely crazy :0}

So as I now have 4 days off work over Easter Im going to finnish at least two projects I promise.

New Bear available on Ebay

Ive just put my latest bear Hal on Ebay. He loves his pumpkins so much I'm keeping them with him when he goes to his new home.

The auction is for 5 days and finnishes on Sunday 23/10/11. I realy enjoyed making Hal. Im looking forward to starting a new bear now :0)

missing leads and thread jointing blues

Hi

Im sorry to say I have to start this blog with a bit of a moan. I am the only person in my house to upload pics from my camera and yet every time I want to do this someone has moved the lead... This usualy only takes about an hour until I eventualy find it but this time I've been looking for 4 days with no luck :0( The suspects, hubby, hannah and jamie each look at me and say " what lead?"

I think this is proof that I need a work room LOL

I have managed to upload a pic via FB of my latest bear Hal.

Hal is 3" tall and was sitting waiting for me to join him together for nearly 3 months, poor thing. But I went back to basics and re read instructions which was very useful. i think I had gotten into bad habbits over the years so it was refreshing to go back and start again.
